Site Issues

This site is provided as a resource to those wishing to use GSSHA™. The nature of the site allows changes by all users, so no statements should be cited as coming from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers without first consulting with the developers. Wiki pages, statements, or files that do not come from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are in no way endorsed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Since the developers are constantly updating the documentation on this web site, all documentation is subject to change and much of it will be in the draft stage and subject to approval. Any downloadable files are provided as-is, with no warranty or guarantee, and are also subject to changes.

GSSHA™ Trademark Issues

The hydrologic model Gridded Surface Subsurface Hydrologic Analysis (GSSHA™) is created by the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory at the Engineer Research and Development Center of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. When referring to GSSHA™ or using the GSSHA™ Hydro-Sediment-Environment logo in documentation, presentations, or marketing material you must, at the beginning of, or when it is first used in, the documentation, presentation, or marketing material, include a statement to the effect that GSSHA™ is created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. You may resize the GSSHA™ Hydro-Sediment-Environment logo, which can be obtained in the download section, but you may not alter them in any other way. The GSSHA™ trademark or the GSSHA™ Hydro-Sediment-Environment logo must not be more prominent than your company’s logo or the presentation title. You may not use the name GSSHA™ as part of a name of any program or system of programs. You may not use the trademarked name GSSHA™ or the trademarked GSSHA™ Hydro-Sediment-Environment logo in a manner disparaging of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or the GSSHA™ brand.

Cleandam™

Cleandam™ is also trademarked by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The same stipulations for the use of the GSSHA™ trademark apply to the Cleandam™ trademark.

This site and much of the documentation on this site will refer to the Watershed Modeling System (WMS), created by Brigham Young University and Aquaveo, LLC. All images of WMS are reproduced with permission. The use and demonstration of WMS or any other user interface on this site, however, is not an endorsement of these products.
